Datayug Society is a non-profit organization founded in 2023 based in Shillong, Meghalaya. We work to strengthen digital literacy and cyber awareness by educating individuals and communities on safe, responsible, and confident use of technology.
Through workshops, awareness programs, and community-driven initiatives, we help people across all age groups protect themselves from cyber threats and bridge the digital divide in an increasingly connected world.

This is to state that, in commemoration of women's Day, the Datayug Society conducted a programme on Cyber Awareness I Hygiene on the 8th of March, 2025, in Lady Keane College.
The event was a timely and relevant one which benefitted both students and teachers. I wish the team every success.
During my internship at Datayug Society, I worked on cybercrime awareness initiatives, from studying online threats to conducting programs in schools and communities. This strengthened my digital safety knowledge, improved my communication, teamwork, and confidence, and gave me practical skills for my future career.
During this internship, I focused on creating impactful surveys and conducting in depth research to support our projects. I also had the opportunity to write a blog, which helped me strengthen my content writing skills. One of the most meaningful moments was delivering the vote of thanks at workshops an experience that built my confidence in public speaking and allowed me to express gratitude on behalf of our team.
My one month internship at Datayug Society was a chapter of growth, learning, and connection. I explored cybersecurity awareness, policy drafting, and research, while also creating presentations, designing posts, and facilitating workshops. The support of my mentors and colleagues made me feel valued, and the experience showed me how small efforts can create meaningful impact; a milestone I'll always cherish.
